An Unorthodox Guide to Cebu's Tourist Spots: Cebu Heavenly Temple

Although The Heavenly Temple is the lesser known yet more exclusive Chinese/Taoist temple in Cebu, this is where my Chinese relatives go to pray. So I guess it's fitting we brought our guests here.
-----

The temple is physically a lot smaller than Taoist Temple. But of course, every temple is equal in terms of all spiritual aspects. Faith is one of the best free things we're blessed to have, IMO!
-----

We spotted this very cute puppy while walking around the temple. We wanted to take it home, but it had a leash on. So that probably means someone already owns it. Boo!
-----

I barely took photos since we only stayed there for 5-10 minutes! Plus, we ate beef for lunch… and you're not allowed to get inside the temple once you've eaten beef beforehand.
-----

Next stop and post? Well, let's go for newer, more modern and hip tourist destinations that both kids and adults would surely enjoy this time... and one of them is the Rainforest Cafe!

The Heavenly Temple is located at:
Peace Valley Subdivision, Lahug,
Cebu, Philippines 6000

  1. I don't know if this is the same temple that I visited a couple of years back. Cebu is like Manila except that it has less traffic (that was years ago, I don't know about now, hahaha!!!)

    1. Maybe you visited the more known brother of these temples, the Cebu Taoist Temple. It's my previous post, actually. Haha Cebu has been getting more traffic by the years, but one cannot compare Cebu's traffic to MNL's. But give it half a decade, maybe things will change for the drastic. Haha :)
